Mission
Before anything else, Báhoo Studio is a home for anyone and everyone. We are a community supported space.
Located in Vancouver’s Chinatown, Báhoo Studio was founded with the intention to inspire students to explore their creativity through inclusive ceramics classes and studio memberships.

Everyone deserves a space to learn, escape, and create. We want Báhoo students, members, and instructors alike to see the studio as a space for creative exploration, self-expression, and community.
Our Team
Much like our approach to ceramics classes, the development of instructors is grounded in hands-on learning. With a focus on instruction that helps students build fundamental skills, instructors create an environment that allows students to create while exploring the facets of ceramics that interest them most. Each Báhoo team member is encouraged to deepen their own practice and grow as a ceramicist and person even beyond the studio doors.
Accessibility
Báhoo Studio is proud to welcome students and artists into a collaborative environment. We are members and allies of the LGBTQ2S+ communities, and we believe that people of all ages, genders and identities deserve a peaceful refuge to flourish in. A few notes on our studio space: Báhoo is located on the second floor which is only accessible by a flight of stairs. We sometimes burn incense in the space, so please reach out if you have any sensitivities or concerns. Our studio space has an open concept which means it can sometimes get noisy with student and member excitement.
