This is the start, the beginning, this is where we lay the stones to our foundation. In this 2 hour class we will learn the technical skills in order to use the pottery wheel, and come out being able to centre, pull up, make a cylinder (the most important shape in wheel throwing) as well as a bowl. The glazing week will introduce you to underglaze as well as custom studio glazes.
This beginner course is a fundamental precursor to a number of our continuing classes such as Level 1 & Level 2 Wheel Throwing 6 Weeks or our specific skill development workshop series where you can customize and target your learning! Absolutely no experience required for this introductory course!
